Living in an Age of Uncertainty

Today's post is all about living in an age of uncertainty. As a young person, I feel that there is an ever growing amount of uncertainty surrounding job prospects, the economy and the future in general. Things change so rapidly, it can be overwhelming to keep up. I do feel fairly fortunate as someone who is in the business world, as I am able to keep up a little more with the changing trends, politics and economy as a part of my degree, however I do feel that there is a lot that we can't control, and have to keep guessing about. I think the biggest experience of uncertainty I have faced so far in my life, is during my placement search. I didn't know where I would be or whether I would even secure a position. It's a challenging prospect to deal with whilst also trying to apply for jobs, research companies and go to assessment centres. Below are some of my tips for staying calm in times of uncertainty. 1.
